Who is a Good Candidate for Non Surgical Rhinoplasty?
Nonsurgical rhinoplasty is usually a good fit for candidates who want to make small, subtle changes to the nose and do not want to undergo a surgical procedure. If you want to make big and bold changes to the nose, a surgical procedure may be more likely to deliver your desired final results.
If you want a smaller nose or volume removed from areas of the nose, a surgical procedure may be a better fit. However, there are some ways in which a nonsurgical nose job can create the illusion of a smaller nose.
You should be prepared to discuss your outcome with Dr. Ogilvie and your medical history when you arrive for your consultation. Nonsurgical rhinoplasty procedures can treat various issues, from a shallow bridge to a drooping tip and much in between.

The Non Surgical Rhinoplasty Procedure
Nonsurgical rhinoplasty is a noninvasive procedure that requires a few simple injections to achieve your desired results. No anesthetic is usually required so a nonsurgical rhinoplasty can be performed right in our Chicago office.
A nonsurgical rhinoplasty will usually follow these basic steps:
Anesthesia — For a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, anesthesia is usually not required. However, a topical numbing agent may be used for particularly uncomfortable patients.
Injection — Dr. Ogilvie will make several injections of dermal fillers into the nose (as dictated by your desired results). These injections typically take roughly fifteen minutes or so to administer.
Recovery and Results
Patients will see immediate results from their dermal filler injections. Nonsurgical rhinoplasty is typically used to make small but noticeable changes to the nose — some patients seek to increase the size of the bridge or change the overall shape of the nose. In some cases, nonsurgical rhinoplasty can even correct some bulging or crooked noses.
Results from most nonsurgical rhinoplasty procedures will last between 18-24 months, depending on the patient and the dermal filler chosen.
